System Overview

FTU is the end monitoring terminal of distribution automation. FTU connects with DTU via serial RS232/RS485 and communicates with the power center through a power APN wireless private network. It realizes the purpose of remote monitoring of the power center on front-end FTU.

Front end: FTU is the terminal part of the distribution automation for reports and functions of the distribution network, and realizes the docking with the distribution center through the DTU.

Communication: Stability characteristics of anti disturbance DTU, ensure FTU real-time data exchange with a distribution center.

Background: The distribution center collect and analyze all FTU information and status of the front-end via wireless, then take appropriate measures.

System features and advantages

High industrial grade design, cold and high temperature resistant, to ensure 24 hours online.

Strong signal reception, strong anti-interference ability, adapt to the electromagnetic interference distribution environment.

Small size, standard interface, convenient installation, and maintenance.

Support all APN networks, to ensure safety and reliability.
