Steps to access industrial router without internet
In order to access your industrial router without internet, you first need to connect the router to your computer. The most efficient way to do this is by using a LAN cable. Once connected, disable your Wi-Fi connection and then login into the router settings page. Next, set up your Internet connection in order for it to work properly (you may have to change some settings).

1. Use default IP address to access the router
The first method is to use the default IP address. If you have the router’s manual, see if it contains information on how to access it without an active internet connection. If not, we can try different methods to find out its IP address:

On your computer, open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all . This will list all network adapters on your machine with their respective IPv4 addresses (and other details). Find the one that has “Local Area Connection” in its name and copy down its IPv4 address under “IPv4 Address.”

On Windows 10/8/7 machines, press Win + R to open Run dialog box; type cmd in Run dialog box and hit Enter key; this will launch Command Prompt window; here type ipconfig /all (without quotes) at C:\> prompt; this should display similar results like above but with additional data including MAC address(es) of active network adapters such as WiFi or Ethernet

2. Connect your router with computer using LAN cable

Insert the LAN cable into the Ethernet port on your computer, and then insert the other end of the cable into an available port on your router.

Make sure that you connect the cable correctly, and check if it is properly inserted by using a network troubleshooting tool such as PingPlotter. If you don’t have one, there are plenty of free online tools (such as this one) that can be used instead to test connectivity between devices.

3. Disable your Wi-Fi connection
Open Network and Sharing Center in the Control Panel. This can be done by searching for it in the search bar or simply clicking on the network icon in your system tray and selecting “Open Network and Sharing Center” from the resulting menu.

Click on Change adapter settings on the left-hand side of this window, then right-click on your wireless connection and choose Disable from the context menu that appears (note: if you have multiple connections enabled, make sure you select your wireless connection before proceeding).

4. Login into your router

To login to your router, you will need a computer or mobile device and access to the internet. If you have changed the password and forgotten it, reset the router to its default settings as follows:

On most routers, there is a small hole on the back where a pin can be inserted. Simply insert something sharp and press until you hear an audible click. You may want to use some pliers or tweezers for this step so that there are no injuries incurred by trying to poke around with your fingers in tight places!* After unlocking, the username will be “admin” (not capitalized) and no password required.* For newer models with more complex security such as WPA2 encryption, use this guide created by our friends at How-To Geek: [The Ultimate Guide To Changing Your Wi-Fi Network Name & Getting Better Security]

5. Set up internet connection in your router
If you want to configure your router, you can do so by connecting the internet cable to the internet port of your router.

Then, open up a browser window on your computer and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. You’ll be prompted for a username and password; leave these blank and hit enter to log in as “admin.” Now that you’re signed in, look for an option labeled “Internet Connection” or similar under Advanced Settings (if it’s not there, look around for one called DHCP Server or something similar). From here, select “Static IP Address” and enter in all of your internet provider’s DNS server addresses (for example: 8.8.8.8) into their corresponding fields before saving changes and restarting your device again just like before!
