Site-to-site VPN tunnels are created by connecting two firewalls together. Our VPN tunnels use IPSEC technology. Configuration parameters are sent to the customer after we configure the firewall on our side. Afterward, the customer would enter the configuration parameters on their firewall/router.
Any machine(s) on a company’s LAN would then be able to connect to its devices via our m2m SIMs, and vice versa. It would be an always-on VPN connection. Site-to-site VPN tunnels require a hardware firewall/router that can set up an IPSEC VPN tunnel.
